• FluMist is a vaccine that is sprayed into the nose and is approved for children older than 2 years of age who don’t have asthma or recurrent wheezing.
• If your child has an egg allergy, you should talk to a nurse before scheduling an appointment for either the flu shot or FluMist.
• Some insurance companies charge a co-pay for the administration of flu vaccines while others do not. If you know you from past experience that your insurance does, please pay that at the time of the visit. If you do not know, we will file to your insurance company and bill you if they do impose a charge.

Dr. Pat Wolff to Leave St. Louis Practice to Concentrate on Haiti, Peanut Butter

It's been a mystery to many how Dr. Patricia Wolff manages to balance running Meds & Food for Kids (MFK), an organization that produces and distributes nutrient-laden peanut butter to malnourished children in Haiti, with her own private pediatrics practice here in St. Louis. On June 30, though, Wolff's juggling exhibition will come to an end. Wolff will be folding up her practice at Forest Park Pediatrics and devoting herself to MFK full-time.

FPP Welcomes Dr. Dana Ankney
Dr. Dana Ankney is a St. Louis native and board certified pediatrician who has been working as a pediatric hospitalist for the last three years at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Missouri Baptist and Progress West. She will be joining Forest Park Pediatrics, P.C. to begin her private practice July 1st, 2011

Welcome to Forest Park Pediatrics, P.C. a group of 6 Board Certified Physicians who have been dedicated to the health care of children since 1997 with a combined experience of over 75 years. We are happy to see children from birth – through college.

We are located in the Central West End at 4488 Forest Park Blvd. Ste 230, St. Louis, MO 63108. We can be reached at (314) 535-7855. Our phone hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

We understand that children don’t always get sick between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. So that we may better serve the needs of working parents, we do have one physician that works late to accommodate acute illnesses Monday – Thursday. We use St. Louis Children’s Hospital After Hours for emergencies.

We have registered nurses on staff to assist you with any questions you may have about your child’s illness, routine health care, or general questions.

Our physicians are on staff at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, and St. John’s Mercy Hospital.
